Looked calm then wind picked up and I rigged 8.5m. Wind was up and down as shown by other also on 8.5m to 7m.
When wind was up 8.5m was too much but good fun most of the time, dodging teh yachts making their way out of the river, including a sail barge which was nice to see. On teh water for about an hour then came ashore and found my fin box was about to fall out, so a spot of luck there. As I left others looked like they were having fun. and Darren was about to set off with 5m. Apart from the knackered board a good day for all. Seven out in all, and Rob kitesurfing. GPS went to sllep for a while so probably sailed further than shown.
